How I got to this exact moment in time

Let me start with an apology, for this is a learning experience for the both of us; you learning about me and my small business (Bleu Eyed View), and me learning how to put personal life events and emotions into words. I foresee this not being the best you’ve ever read, but it's the best I can deliver at this exact moment in time. I have been told “practice makes perfect” so here we go

Flash Back Status

Just a strange sixteen-year-old me, fresh outta high school. Unaware of what I was doing on a daily basis, completely clueless to anything pertaining to a profession. Only thing that was on my mind was having all the fun; adulting did NOT fall into that category. Like most teens, I was confronted with a million career questions from my ever so lovely family. Trying to keep the berating to a minimum, I experimented with various jobs/majors/programs/certifications without any really soaking up my full attention. After many monotonous assignments, late night shifts, and nerve-racking tests, I thought "I have always created my own path, why not embrace the creativity!”

The Nine To Fivers

I applaud the ones who have the attention span to conduct themselves like the rest of the general population, working nine to five. I was convinced it was something that might possibly bore me to actual death. I did a lot of research on a variety of careers that would give me the freedom to be my creative self. Finally, I turned my head in the direction of digital design and fell in love! I love the creative freedom to make whatever my mind can conjure up and I can do it ANYWHERE! NO more being at the said place, at said time.

Bleu Eyed View

Coming up with Bleu Eyed View took many brainstorming sessions, trying to pinpoint exactly how I was going to stand out in the current day overload of digital designers. Bleu Eyed View was the best way I could describe what I had to offer. Views from my blue-eyed having self. Designing has become not only my personal outlet, but my main source of income. As most adults call it, my CAREER. I am stoked to be able to pull my mind's wild creations out and display them in various mediums for people to see. My path took me a while to uncover BUT I am ever so grateful to wake up and do what I love, where I love to do it!

Credit where credit is due

I have been blessed with the kindest models that make my brand look like the next big thing! An amazing group of friends, that attend my brainstorming and grammar check sessions without warning ...(there’s probably still a few, oopsies). A wonderful mother who has funded and supported ridiculous art projects my whole life. An entrepreneur father who introduced me to the world of design and being your own boss. Lastly, my Ant-honey for giving me a shoulder to lean on, putting ridiculous amounts of sushi in my belly and a non-stop smile on my face. Everyone has been so supportive and without them all I wouldn’t have made it to the starting line of this business.

Finishing it up

Now when someone asks you about your rad new tee, digital print etc. I hope this gives you more to say than just a catchy business name. I am just an artist trying to expresses the Importance of Self-Growth & Self-Acceptance. Know that when you buy from Bleu Eyed View, my heart does its own happy dance. Thanks for enduring this learning experience and for supporting artists like me!
